Ff9 has always been my favorite game. I played it when I was 9. This game and the characters really shaped my vision of friendship. Back then, I did not realize what this scene meant, and that Zidane actually tried to get himself killed just to save his friends and not destroy the world. Dagga’s curaga scene is ultra powerful because it symbolizes the spark of hope Zidane needed at the most crucial moment, when his life was about to end (1Hp). I think it encourages us to never let a friend down, even when everything seems lost, because there is always something that can be done, to let our friends and family know that they are not alone.

to me the worse part is that Riku couldnt see Sora as a friend until he was completed... Kairi got her heart back in her body and it created a Nobody so really DiZ and co were the villains here. Roxas could have won against Xemnas... hell Nomura said so... Roxas with his 2 Keyblades is stronger than Final Form Sora... it was the dusk shit that gave Xemnas leeway... if Roxas had grown his own heart Sora would not have needed to wake up...

So worst defeated 😂

This scene was so underrated. After a long struggle(both Sora and us,the players)against Dark Riku,we finally beaten him at last. The seal can be sealed for good and it'll all be over. Unfortunately,the keyhole isn't completed just yet,thus it can't be sealed. Sora looks at the keyblade(?)and ponders about opening his heart to free both Kairi and the princesses. He realizes it was the only way as he takes the keyblade and stabs himself to free them from himself,allowing them to be brought back alive. Of course,before he did so,he takes a look at his 2 friends that has helped him throughout the journey,he can't help but smile upon looking back at the many shenanigans he,Donald and Goofy went through together. Turns out,he was right,but it happened at a cost,and it was,his own *heart* As his body began to fade,he takes one last look at one of his dearest friend,Curry-I mean Kairi.He notices that at last,she's finally back on her toes.Satisfied,he gave off one last smile upon seeing it,and fades away from the heartful realm and dives into the darkness,becoming what we call,a "Heartless". Upon waking up,Kairi notices Sora,but it was too late,she(and Donald)rushes to Sora and did their best to hang on to him,but alas,it was already too late... Man,it was so emotional and beautiful to watch no matter how many times I do so. The beautiful and calming piano rendition of our dearly beloved song "Simple and Clean/Hikari" from the great singer,Utada Hikaru was just the icing on the cake

Sora is the ultimate dimwit. Defeats literally EVERYONE there is. "Ohh Uhhh, none of this makes any sense to me.." 🤤

Beatrix is bullshit. They made her plotwise OP 4 combined can beat Garland and double KO with Trance Kuja and they are absolutely no match for Beatrix fuck powerscale. If Beatrix was that strong why cant see just go after Kuja Garland and one side win? Beatrix is plotwise overpowered made me think stronger than Garland

this fight would be 10 times better if 1) wakka never lore walked at you for no fucking reason and 2) the blitzball always went directly towards your target when you hit it instead of sometimes flying over their head, again for no fucking reason

The one thing I dont get, and Sora even mentions it - "wait a sec, oh yeah, you were at the Cathedral!" He saw Vanitas' face in the Cathedral. Ya know, the exact same face as his. And then later acts really surprised when it's revealed that him and Vanitas share the same face.

This is basically Dragon Ball Z.

By sacrificing himself to save the Worlds, Sora became a true hero. To put his life on the line for somebody he loved, he was given a second chance.
